Extract Your OS Zip

Download NakLauncher_Windows_v1.0.zip (or NakLauncher_Linux_v1.0.zip), right-click the file, and select Extract All. Everything is self-contained inside.

Pick Your Skin & Cape

Double-click NakLauncher.exe on Windows (or run_launcher.sh on Linux). Enter your username, open the Wardrobe tab, and equip any of the 50 Skins & 50 Capes.

Click PLAY GAME

Click PLAY GAME directly. On first launch, NakLauncher automatically configures Java 17, Fabric 1.20.1, all 52 mods, 2 shader packs, 4 resource packs, and conflict-free keybinds.

Microsoft Windows displays a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen on any newly downloaded indie launcher or .bat script unless the developer pays $300 to $400 USD per year for a commercial EV Code Signing Certificate.

Because NakLauncher is a 100% free project made for friends (with zero ads and zero monetization), we do not pay $400/year to certificate authorities. Instead, we use the official DigiCert-signed Python 3.11 runtime and leave all source code (runtime/main.py) 100% open and readable so you can see exactly what it does.

PLAY WITH FRIENDS

Multiplayer Co-Op Connection Guide

Host a world and invite friends using either Playit.gg (no VPN required) or Radmin VPN LAN.

Option 1: Playit.gg Tunnel (No VPN Needed)

Best when friends want to connect with a single public address without installing a VPN.

  • 1 Host enters a Singleplayer world, presses Esc -> Open to LAN, and notes the LAN port number shown in chat.
  • 2 Run the Playit.gg tunnel pointing to 127.0.0.1:<LAN_PORT> (or publish the address in the NakLauncher Host Room tab).
  • 3 Friends copy the tunnel address (e.g., xxx.gl.joinmc.link) into Multiplayer -> Direct Connect.

Option 2: Radmin VPN (Direct Virtual LAN)

Low-latency virtual LAN connection for friends on the same Radmin VPN network.

  • 1 All players join the same Radmin VPN network room.
  • 2 Host opens the world to LAN (Esc -> Open to LAN) and copies their Radmin IPv4 address + LAN port (e.g., 26.x.x.x:25565).
  • 3 Friends open Multiplayer -> Direct Connect and paste the Host's IP:Port to join immediately.

No. Clicking PLAY GAME automatically checks if the 52 mods, shaders, resource packs, Fabric 1.20.1, or Java 17 are missing and installs all of them in one step before launching the game.
No. NakLauncher_Windows_v1.0.zip bundles a complete standalone DigiCert-signed Windows Python 3.11 runtime inside runtime/ alongside NakLauncher.exe, and automatically downloads portable Adoptium Java 17 if Java is not present on the PC.
Press K in-game to toggle shaders ON or OFF immediately. Press O in-game to open the Iris Shader Pack Selection menu where you can switch between Complementary Reimagined r5.7.1 and BSL v8.2.09. AutoRun has been moved to Numpad 8 so O never conflicts.
NakLauncher configures CustomSkinLoader 15.0.1 with a local Legacy skin and cape pipeline and converts all textures to 32-bit RGBA PNGs across all player name and UUID aliases automatically whenever you equip an item or press PLAY GAME.
